The Challenge

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an extremely complex topic to begin with, and more so if you aren't already working in a technical field. How do we teach people, especially children and teenagers, how to responsibly and ethically use AI in a way that is both engaging and educational?

Making learning about AI fun and engaging

Our Approach

We decided one of the best options was to make a board game based around Augmented Reality (AR), where we mix traditional board game design with AR puzzles and challenges, to create an interactive experience where players of all ages can safely learn about AI.

We're working closely with our partners to ensure that everything matches the educational standard needed to make this a valuable learning tool, while also doing our best to keep things fun and engaging for all players.

The Solution

The AI-deDiCate Game, or 'The Mindful AI', is a single/multiplayer app-enhanced board game where you have to answer questions and solve puzzles in order to progress and win the game. As you progress through the board, you learn about different aspects of using AI. What could be dangerous to share, what should you use it for, and how do you use it responsibly?
